You're probably wondering about the name, right? When I was growing up I got dunked on for Naruto running down the halls, but also for being dynamically disabled. Being diagnosed with autism in the late 90s, it was a tough time for my foreign parents navigating having a child with mental and physical developmental differences. I was sick a lot, and it only got worse as more genetic diseases made themselves known in my teen years.

Growing up with a parent below the poverty line, and a dad who was fresh off the boat, we didn't have many resources available to us. the only constant in my life was my love of art. it didn't matter what kind- i loved ballet and plays, sculpture, art history, and most of all: anime and manga. I dreamed and dreamed of one day being able to replicate my favorite shows like sailor moon and pretty cure. I would be an artist with my own studio, but what to call it?

One day I was deealing with the usual snarky classmates when I was asked: "why are you such a spazz?" And that's when it hit me: spazzatic studio. (pronounced spazz-attic studio) my dream had a name...
